We’ve spent every day

Trying to find a way

The road has been long

But faith has kept us strong

We wondered what we’d find

But God gave us peace of mind

Every moment of pleasure

Is something we treasure

A silent prayer

Showed God is there

We hung on His word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We know what’s by design

So everything is fine

God’s work is real

Too difficult to conceal

It gives us dreams

That make us burst at the seams

He fills us to the core

Then offers us more

We’re now in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We can now stand

As we hold God’s hand

It’s plain to see

We’ve got the victory

We’ve seen what’s in stone

Finally learned we’re not alone

We know every journey is for us

In God we trust

We’ve learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We hold each other close

Cause love matters most

When we open our eyes

We see a wonderful surprise

We feel God’s affection

We have His protection

We ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

We’re living the purpose

That rose to the surface

We’re begun to live
