To be loved

Is to share every day

While accepting God’s way

To share every dream

Strange though it may seem

To feel a touch

That means so much

To share a kiss

Too difficult to resist

To share a journey

Meant for every soul only

To know faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

To hold hands

Right where God stands

To listen to a word

That deserves to be heard

To rest in a place

With very little regret

To find our purpose

To share a smile

Of what we used to know

To do a victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

To let go of dread

As we look straight ahead

To share lessons we’ve learned

See the stripes we’ve earned

To change our view

When we see what God can do

And feel God’s affection

As well as protection
