Awaking to a new day

Sending some praise God’s way

Feeling nothing but love

Coming from heaven above

Preparing for a journey

Meant for me only

Resting in a home

Where my soul can roam

Planting the seeds

That lead to good deeds

Hanging on God’s word

Cause it’s all I’ve heard

Building new dreams

That make me burst at the seams

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Acknowledging an answered prayer

Shows God is there

Sharing my smile

Laughing a little while

Seeing what’s in stone

Realizing I’m not alone

Learning my name

Letting go of my shame

Seeing the place

Filled with mercy and grace

Watching God perform miracles

As I stand on principles

Gaining a renewed strength

As I talk with Him at length

Touching a hand

Right where I stand

Feeling God’s affection

Having His protection

Taking faith everywhere I go

Sharing what I know

Getting much stronger

As the day gets longer

Enjoying a moment of pleasure

Beyond all measure

Sharing lessons learned

Seeing the stripes I’ve earned

Learning what to ignore

As God fills me to the core

Having no doubt

That God will work things out

Preparing to do it all again
