Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Cause God has shown the way

To a much brighter day

We can see what’s in stone

We know we’re not alone

We have no fear

Cause God almighty is near

We’ve learned from the past

We’ve made every moment last

A new dream has arrived

We see how we’ve thrived

We have another purpose to fulfill

We know it’s God’s will

Despite our naysayers

We said our prayers

Now we’re resting on solid ground

We share the joy we found

We’ll build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

And we’ve gained a renewed strength

After talking with God at length

Looking straight ahead

We’ve changed our view

After seeing what God can do

We’re trying our new wings

We see some beautiful things

We feel God’s affection

As well as protection

We know it’s by design

We know everything is fine

We’ve learned how to live

How much to give

And how to love

Just like heaven above

We’ll plant new seeds

That will lead to good deeds

We’ll see the steps we’ll take

And all the memories we’ll make

We’ll do our victory dance

After our second chance

And without dread

We’ll keep looking straight ahead
