All the stripes we’ve earned

The perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

The victory dance

We do when we get a chance

The encouraging word

Our new name

How we let go of our shame

How we learned to sit still

Then accept God’s will

What God can do

All the steps we’ll take

What we know is real

Too difficult to conceal
