Watching leaves fall from trees

As God works with ease

Looking straight ahead

While anticipating what lies ahead

Reflecting on the journey

Meant for us only

Knowing God sets things in stone

He never leaves us alone

Another chapter begins

Cause faith always wins

We count blessings galore

Before God offers us more

We embrace a new day

As we accept God’s way

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

There’s a chill in the air

But we know God is there

God offers peace of mind

As we see what we can find

Our purpose becomes clear

We hold our faith near

We hang on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We share a smile

We even laugh a little while

As the seasons change

Life doesn’t feel so strange

We embrace the plan

God will reveal when He can

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

We keep going

All while knowing

We’ll build new dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We’ll stay on course

With very little remorse

Cause life is brand new
