Hanging on God’s word

Knowing God is the reason

Feeling God’s power

Hour after hour

Planting the seeds

That lead to good deeds

Taking one step at a time

While still in our prime

Our hearts running free

Seeing what’s meant to be

Our will getting stronger

As our days get longer

Our souls resting in a home

Where we can freely roam

Fulfilling the purpose

We see lying at the surface

Facing our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Knowing our love is real

Too difficult to conceal

Seeing what’s in stone

Realizing we’re not alone

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Cause God has a plan

He’ll reveal when He can

Sharing a smile
