We’ve faced difficult days

Until God worked things out

Until God set the path

Without unleashing His wrath

We’ve searched for purpose

While filled with dread

Until God revealed His plan

As only He can

In heaven above

Before God gave us more

Than we asked for

We came in for a landing

Things that make us feel secure

That would make us rejoice

We’ve tried to smile

Even laugh a little while

Knowing what’s for us
