We face every day

As God leads the way

We look into our hearts

To see where life starts

We search high and low

For what will help us grow

We stay in prayer

Knowing God almighty is there

We search for our purpose

Until it rises to the surface

We try to touch the love

That comes from heaven above

We hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all we’ve heard

We finally find a home

Where our souls can roam

We gain strength

As we talk with God at length

We learn to smile

Even laugh a little while

Faith reveals what’s clear

So, we move without fear

We learn what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

We fall then rise again

Knowing with faith we’ll win

We remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

Our life lessons

Become heartfelt confessions

We plant seeds

That lead to good deeds

We keep going

All while knowing

God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We get turned around

Until God puts us on solid ground

We see what’s for us

In God we trust

We hold our faith close

Cause faith matters most

It keeps working
