Thanking God for being there

That God will work things out

We saw what lies ahead

Faith removed our dread

We felt God’s affection

We had His protection

We saw what’s in stone

We realized we’re not alone

We held hands

Right where love stands

Our purpose became clear

We held our faith near

And we planted seeds

That lead to good deeds

Faith filled every soul

It made life whole

God gave us a home

Where our souls could roam

We hung on God’s word
