We face every day

While trying to find our way

We stumble here and there

But God offers tender loving care

We grapple with doubt

Until God works things out

We wonder what’s for us

But in God we trust

We feel weak

Until we hear God speak

We get turned around

Before God puts us on solid ground

We learn what to ignore

As God fills us to the core

We grapple with fear

Until we see God standing near

We search for peace

Our hearts won’t release

Suddenly we find our purpose

Lying at the surface

We give as good as we get

With very little regret

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We learn how to live

We learn how to give

We learn how to love

Just like heaven above

We change our view

After seeing what God can do

We search for a home

Where our souls can roam

Until God offers us a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

Suddenly God lifts us up

Then fills our cup

We continue our fight

As we follow our guiding light

We arrive at our final destination

Then pray without hesitation

We lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

Cause we started anew

We feel like morning dew
