I heard a whisper in the wind

It said my journey wouldn’t end

It was the voice of God

So, I offered a wink and nod

The voice set me free

Told me what’s meant to be

It directed my path

Without unleashing God’s wrath

It told me to stand

Cause God would hold my hand

It revealed my purpose

Before it rose to the surface

It removed my fear

It told me God is standing near

It made me smile

Even laugh a little while

It delivered the word

That needed to be heard

It turned me around

Put me on solid ground

It lifted me up

It filled my cup

And it showed what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

It removed all doubt

That God would work things out

It filled me with love

That comes from heaven above

It offered me something pure

It made me feel secure

It gave me strength

As I talked with God at length

It carried me through

It showed what God can do

It offered affection

As well as protection

It set things in stone

It revealed why I’m never alone

It said to continue my mission

With crystal clear vision

Cause God has a plan

He’ll reveal when He can
