I just said a silent prayer

Thanking God for being there

I did a victory dance

To celebrate my second chance

I feel brand new

Cause I see what God can do

I finally saw my purpose

Lying at the surface

I see all the dreams

That make me burst at the seams

I’m filled to the core

I know God will offer me more

I’m preparing for a new day

God will lead the way

My soul is free

I see what’s meant to be

God gave me a place

Filled with mercy and grace

So, I face my naysayers

As I say my prayers

I lift my voice

As I begin to rejoice

Cause God turned me around

Put me on solid ground

I break into a smile

The smile lasts quite a while

I see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave me alone

I feel His power

Hour after hour

I get much stronger

As my journey gets longer

I learn as I go

I share what I know

I see the steps I’ll take

And all the memories I’ll make

I know faith is a must

In God I trust

I know my name

I feel no shame

God is always with me

So, I’m getting happy
