We embrace every new day

While thanking God for making a way

Looking straight ahead

We feel no dread

Cause God is with us

In Him we trust

We complete another chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

As we build the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

Cause we can now stand

As we hold God’s hand

Our naysayers we ignore

Cause we’re filled to the core

Every moment is brand new

We feel like morning dew

We get much stronger

As our journey gets longer

We then look life in the eye

Without wondering why

Knowing God has a plan

He’ll reveal when He can

We travel far

While healing every scar

Cause we clearly see

What’s meant to be

We move without fear

Cause God almighty is near

God has set things in stone

He never leaves us alone

We rest in a home

Where our souls can roam

Then plant the seeds

That lead to good deeds

God removed all doubt

That things will work out

As we run our race

In a safe and secure place

Our life lessons

Are now heartfelt confessions

We’ve changed our view

After seeing what God can do

Here’s a toast to new things

And all the joy life brings

As we celebrate our rebirth
