As I accept God’s will

Still not speaking

Gathering thoughts galore

As God fills me to the core

Relishing perfect peace

Resting in a quiet place

Filled with mercy and grace

Hearing only the voice of God

Then offering a wink and nod

Complete solitude for sure

I feel safe and secure

Perspective I gain

Through heartache and pain

Staying quiet just for reality

The moment is meant to be

Thinking of God’s power

Hour after hour

Learning how to live

Learning how to give

Learning how to love

Just like heaven above

Finally finding my voice
