How God keeps us on track

Then gives us what we lack

The beautiful home

Where our souls can roam

The surprise we see

What’s truly meant to be

Why we don’t pretend

Why we love until the end

And when we shared a smile

That lasted quite a while

I think of beautiful days

God’s loving ways

The moment God turned us around

Then put us on solid ground

Things we learned to ignore

After God filled us to the core

The moment we changed our view

After seeing what God can do

The divine purpose

We saw lying at the surface

The moments of pleasure

We enjoyed beyond measure

The perfect peace we feel

Things we know are real

The moment faith made clear

We had nothing to fear

And when we do it again

Knowing we’ll win
