We saw lying at the surface

By talking with God at length

The victory dance

We did after our second chance

What God set in stone

Why He’s never left us alone

All the blessings granted

The precious seeds we planted

The unconditional love

That comes from heaven above

The encouraging word

We’ve always heard

The beautiful place

Filled with mercy and grace

And how life gets better

When we embrace it to the letter

Last night we got filled to the core

Before God offered us more

We learned to stand

As we took God’s hand

We embraced beautiful things

All the joy life brings

We held each other close

Cause love matters most

We felt God’s power

Hour after hour

We became one

We saw what God has done

We opened our hearts

Only to see where love starts

We stopped pretending

Knowing love is never ending

We found a home

Where our souls can roam

Every moment was real

Too hard to conceal

Under the moonlight

Last night

Someone filled the day

As faith showed us the way

Someone offered love

Just like heaven above

Someone offered perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

Someone turned us around

Then put us on solid ground

Showed us we’re not alone

Before it rose to the surface

To celebrate our second chance

Someone removed our fear

After we saw God standing near

While taking God’s hand

Before we began to rejoice

That God will work things out

Before God offered us more

After we saw what God can do

Continue being a good person. God sees you.

Faith is trusting God even when you don’t understand His plan.
