Another glorious day

Learning to accept God’s way

Touching a hand

Right where we stand

Seeing two beating hearts

Seeing where love starts

Embracing the journey

Meant just for the soul only

Building new dreams

That make the soul burst at the seams

Looking at heaven above

Then seeing nothing but love

Feeling perfect peace

The heart can’t release

Learning to let go

Of what we used to know

An encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

Finding a home

Where our souls can roam

Feeling a little weak

Before we hear God speak

Life getting better

When we embrace it to the letter

What is love?

Taking one step at a time

While still in our prime

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Planting the seeds

That lead to good deeds

Learning to smile

Laughing a little while

Finding a place

To run our race

Facing our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Watching God from afar

Remembering who we are

Faith carrying us through

Seeing what God can do

Doing a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

Lifting one voice

Before we rejoice
