We completed a journey

Meant just for us only

We said a prayer

Thanking God for being there

We learned lessons

Until we burst at the seams

Then shared the joy we found

Filled with mercy and grace

We learned what to ignore

As God filled us to the core

We looked straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We learned to stand

As we took God’s hand

We passed another test

Just like all the rest

We changed our view

After seeing what God can do

We learned our name

We let go of our shame

We shared a smile

That lasted a while

We saw what we’d gain

Through heartache and pain

We held each other close

Cause love matters most

We completed our mission

With crystal clear vision

We prepared for another day

Knowing God would lead the way

We saw something real

Too difficult to conceal

We lifted one voice

Then began to rejoice
