Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your love

It feels like heaven above

Thank you for the peace

Our hearts won’t release

You give us strength

Whenever we talk at length

You’ve given us a home

Where our souls can roam

Thank you for paving the way

For brightening every day

You make us smile

Even laugh a little while

You fill every soul

You make life whole

You planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

You’ve given us something pure

You make us feel secure

Your encouraging word

Deserves to be heard

You reveal our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

You teach us how to live

Teach us how to give

You are the light

We follow day and night

You offer a place

Filled with mercy and grace

You set things in stone

Remind us we’re not alone

You’ve turned us around

Put us on solid ground

You help us stand

With one touch of your hand

You make us see

What’s truly meant to be

Every moment is brand new

Feels like morning dew

With God’s amazing grace

It builds the dreams

That make me burst at the seams

It helps me stand

It makes me look ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing God set my path

Without unleashing His wrath

And life gets better

When I embrace it to the letter

To be with you

Means I can make it through

I see what’s in stone

I realize I’m not alone

I feel your presence

As well as your essence

I look at heaven above

And see nothing but love

I feel your heartbeat

Where faith and I meet

I find a wonderful surprise

Whenever I look in your eyes

What I feel is real

Too hard to conceal

I see what’s by design

So, everything is fine

God planted the seed

Is a chance to be with you

Gone is chaos and confusion

As well as delusion

That God would work things out

And the stress and strain

Filled with nothing but strife

That lacked mercy and grace

Gone is the scar

That healed by far

Gone is the dread

When we looked straight ahead

Cause God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

Gone is our regret

We give as good as we get

Gone is our lacking

We have God’s backing

Gone is the old view

This day is brand new

Gone is the fire

We know what will transpire

Gone is our insecurity

We see nothing but purity

We know we’ll win
