At midnight

Many prayers are heard

Along with God’s word

We reflect on the day

As we accept God’s way

We build new dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave us alone

We gain renewed strength

After talking with God at length

We feel nothing but love

Coming from heaven above

We feel perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

God turns us around

Then puts us on solid

He fills every soul

He makes life whole

We rest in a home

Where our souls can roam

We see the plan

God will reveal when He can

And we feel like morning dew

As we begin life anew

At midnight

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

We prepare for a journey

Meant just for us only

We learn as we go

We share what we know

Our life lessons

Become heartfelt confessions

We rest in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing that God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

Our mission becomes clear

So, we move without fear
