I’m waiting on God

With everything in me

I know what’s meant to be

I face every day

As I accept God’s way

Knowing God set my path

Without unleashing His wrath

I build as I go

I share what I know

I get much stronger

As my journey gets longer

I fall then rise again

Cause faith helps me win

I stay in prayer

Cause God almighty is there

I learn what to ignore

As God fills me to the core

I watch as God works miracles

I stand on my principles

I feel brand new

While seeing what God can do

I see lessons I’ll learn

All the stripes I’ll earn

I keep going

All while knowing

Faith is the key

To what’s meant to bed

I’m waiting on God

With more than a wink and nod

I see what’s in stone

I realize I’m not alone

I see what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

Every moment is pure

I feel safe and secure

I rest on solid ground

I know what I’ve found

I hang on to the word

I’ve always heard

Cause I know every chapter

Will be filled with joy and laughter

There’s no doubt

That God will work things out
