I’m waiting on God

With everything in me

I know what’s meant to be

I’ve had some difficult days

While trying to change my ways

I’ve been down

Had my smile turned into a frown

I’ve grappled with doubt

Wondered if things would work out

Thought I was all alone

I’ve shed a lot of tears

Until God put me on a different path
