We rise on wobbly legs

Without feeling like dregs

We pray for strength

As we talk with God at length

We travel far

While healing every scar

God reveals our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

We try to find our voice

Before we begin to rejoice

God heals every soul

Faith makes life whole

We find a home

Where our souls can roam

We learn from the word

We’ve always heard

We hold each other close

Cause love matters most

We stay on the path God set

With very little regret

Cause God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We find moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We continue to learn

We see the stripes we’ll earn

We see what we hold

As our story is told

We begin to grow

More than others would know

We move without fear

Cause God almighty is near

We reach our peak

As we listen to God speak

We continue the journey

Meant just for us only

Every moment is real

Too difficult to conceal

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour
