I’ve had some difficult days

I’ve struggled to change my ways

I’ve gotten lost

Not knowing the cost

Until God turned me around

Then put me on solid ground

I’ve grappled with fear

Until I saw God standing near

I often stumble

But experience keeps me humble

For what will help me grow

Until God offered me peace

I’ve faced my naysayers

While saying my prayers

I’ve learned to sit still

While accepting God’s will

I’ve learned what I’ll gain

Even laugh a little while

I had a rough landing

But I’m still standing

Until God worked things out

I’ve wondered where to begin

Until faith helped me win

I’ve seen my purpose

Lying at the surface

I’ve found a home

Where my soul can roam

I’ve hung on the word

I’ve always heard

I’ve gotten stronger

As my journey gets longer

Faith has made me see

What’s meant to be

I feel brand new

Cause I see what God can do

I enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I’ve seen what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave me alone

I’ve traveled far

While healing every scar
