When two become one

A new day begins

They see faith always wins

They hold hands

Right where God stands

They see their purpose

Lying at the surface

They build their dreams

Until they burst at the seams

They get much stronger

As their journey gets longer

They obtain something real

Something they can’t conceal

They find a home

Where their souls can roam

They open their eyes

To a wonderful surprise

Faith makes them see

That they’re meant to be

They break into a smile

They laugh a little while

They learn what to ignore

As God fills their core

And life gets better

As they embrace it to the letter

When two become one

They see what God has done

They travel far

As they heal every scar

They see what they’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

They stand on solid ground

They share the joy they found

They hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all they’ve heard

They stay on the path God set

With very little regret

They enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

They reach their peak

Whenever they hear God speak

They hold each other close

Cause love matters most

They fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

And they never pretend

Cause they bond from beginning to end
