The purpose I see

How a silent prayer

Shows God is there

The wide smile

That travels about a mile

That comes from heaven above

And why life gets better

As I embrace it to the letter

All over the road

As God carries the load

They show life lessons learned

All the stripes I’ve earned

Why I never fear

When God almighty is near

What’s left in stone

Why God never leaves me alone

All the blessings granted

All the seeds I’ve planted

Why I’m filled to the core

Before God offers me more

How I run my race

In a safe and secure place

I see my footsteps

From beginning to end

So I never pretend

They show how I fall and rise again

Why faith helps me win

What’s seems pure

Why I feel safe and secure
