Why I feel safe and secure

All the moments of pleasure

I cherish beyond measure

The beautiful home

Where my soul can roam

The moment God turned me around

Put me on solid ground

Why I run my race

In a safe and secure place

How I sit still

Why I accept God’s will

And why I smile

Even laugh a little while

As I look at the sands of time

I see how God wiped every tear

Then removed every fear

Why God fills my core

Before He offers me more

My victory dance

My second chance

Why I feel brand new

After seeing what God can do

How I spread the encouraging word

That deserves to be heard

Why I fall then rise again

How faith helps me win

Why I fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

All the dreams

That make me burst at the seams

All the steps I take

All the memories I’ll make

How God lifts me up

Then fills my cup
