New Beginning

We face a new day

While praising God in every way

We look at what lies ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We gain strength

By talking with God at length

We see our purpose

Lying at the surface

We build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We see what to ignore

As God fills our core

Faith turns us around

Puts us on solid ground

We treasure the new home

Where our souls can roam

We get filled to the core

Before God offers us more

Faith makes us see

What’s truly meant to be

Our hearts beat as one

Cause we see what God has done

We continue the journey

Meant just for us only

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

We find something pure

What makes us feel secure

We hold hands

Right where God stands

We see the life lessons learned
