Falling Into Place

We face a new day

As we accept God’s way

We embrace this journey

Cause it’s for us only

We grapple with fear and doubt

Until God works things out

We fulfill the purpose

We see lying at the surface

We fall then rise again

Knowing faith helps us win

We get filled to the core

Before God offers us more

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

Knowing God is with us

In Him we trust

We build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We stand on solid ground

We share the joy we found

We hold each other close

Like love matters most

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We open our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We find a home

Where our souls can roam

We relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

We see life lessons learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

We feel unconditional love

Coming from heaven above

We plant seeds

That lead to good deeds

We see what’s in stone

Why God never leaves us alone

We remember who we are

As we reach for a star

We never pretend

Love will never end

We have a safe space

Everything’s falling into place

I think of you every day

They fill my core

Before they appear once more

Like bonding matters most

One I can’t resist
