God Knows

God knows what we fear

Cause He’s always near

God knows this journey

Is meant just for us only

God knows we gain strength

As we talk with Him at length

God knows our purpose

Is lying at the surface

God knows we run our race

In a safe and secure place

God knows unconditional love

Comes from heaven above

God knows we have a home

Where our souls can roam

God knows life is better

When we embrace it to the letter

God knows we travel far

As He heals every scar

God knows we do a dance

To celebrate our second chance

God knows we see lessons learned

All the stripes we’ve earned

God knows we’re one

Cause we see what He’s done

God knows we fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

God knows we hang on the word

We’ve always heard

God knows we relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

God knows He removed all doubt

That things will work out

God knows when we smile

When we laugh a little while

God knows what we hold

As our story is told

God knows we have something pure

A blessing came our way

The moment was real

As God healed every scar

We shared a kiss

We simply couldn’t resist

We shared a touch

That meant so much

We found a home

Our purpose became clear

So we moved without fear

Faith made us see

That deserves to be heard

Heaven above

Took us down to love

We broke into a smile

We laughed a little while

We looked in our hearts

Then saw where love starts

We found something pure

We danced day and night

We followed our guiding light

An answered prayer

Showed us God was there

We found a treasure

To cherish beyond measure

We stood on solid ground

We shared the joy we found

God removed all doubt

We filled every chapter

With joy and laughter

We saw what God had done

We bonded in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We looked at heaven above

As God took us down to love
