Day after day

We accept God’s way

He reveals our purpose

Before it rises to the surface

We travel far

As we heal every scar

We get much stronger

As our journey gets longer

We ignore our naysayers

As we say our prayers

We count blessings galore

As God fills us to the core

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We fall then rise again

Cause faith helps us win

Love sits in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all we’ve heard

We lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

And life gets better

As we embrace it to the letter

Day after day

Our hearts run free

We see what’s meant to be

God wipes away our tears

Then removes all our fears

We relish perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

We stand next to God

We offer a wink and nod

We fill every chapter

With joy and laughter

We see something pure

We feel safe and secure

We build new dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We reach our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

We see what we hold

As our story is told

We have a lot to say

We dedicate our days

To God’s loving ways

Every moment is real

Too difficult to conceal

We hold each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We fulfill the divine purpose

We see lying at the surface

We move without fear

Cause God almighty is near

Our hearts beat as one

We see what God has done

We share a kiss

We simply can’t resist

We share a touch

That means so much

We build our dreams

Until we burst at the seams

We rest at home

Where our souls can roam

We look in each other’s eyes

Then see a wonderful surprise

Our wide smile

Travels about a mile

Our souls run free

Cause we know we’re meant to be

We plant the seeds

That lead to good deeds

God is our guide

Our gratitude we can’t hide

We enjoy moments of pleasure
