We face every day

While accepting God’s way

When we see what needs to be done

While still in our prime

God reveals our purpose

With very little regret

Our journey makes us stronger

As the day gets longer

We feel God’s power

Naysayers we ignore

As faith fills us to the core

We work with our hands

Right where love stands

God offers a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We remove all doubt

That God will work things out

We look straight ahead

The day we met

Is one I’ll never forget

We held each other close

Cause bonding matters most

We shared the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

Every touch was real

Too difficult to conceal

We learned from our past

As we made the moment last

We knew God planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

Our hearts ran free

We knew it was meant to be

Our bond got stronger

As the days got longer

Our souls became one

We saw what God had done

We held hands

And found a wonderful surprise

Then did our love dance

When we got a chance

The moment we met

Is one I don’t regret

God set things in stone

Of what we used to know

Then we found something pure

We felt safe and secure
