Yesterday, our hearts ran free

We saw what’s meant to be

God filled every soul

He made life whole

We embraced what we learned

We saw the stripes we earned

Life was by design

Everything was fine

We found a new home

We let our souls roam

We learned to smile

Even laughed a little while

We lived our dreams

Strange as it seems

We found a hand to hold

As our story was told

We found our voice

As we began to rejoice

And we saw the plan

God reveals when He can

Yesterday, we got stronger

Our days got longer

We let go of fear

Cause God was standing near

We stood by our guide

Our hearts filled with pride

We finally let go

Of things we used to know

We found a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We stayed close to love

Just like heaven above

We found perfect peace

Our hearts won’t release

We saw what we’ll gain

Through heartache and pain

We let go of shame

We told the world our name

We embraced a new day

In our own special way

And God held us close

Cause we matter most

Every moment we wake

God sees what we can take

We feel the love

Coming from heaven above

We rest in a place

Filled with God’s grace

We fulfill our purpose

When it rises to the surface

We live out the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We give as good as we get

With very little regret

We hold each other close

Cause our bond matters most

We write another chapter

Filled with joy and laughter

We get stronger

As our days get longer

And we count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

Every moment we wake

We make clear

What we hold dear

We see what’s for us

In God we trust

We rest on solid ground

We share the joy we found

We hang on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We feel God’s affection

We have His protection

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We cherish every blessing

We learn to stop stressing

We learn our name

We let go of shame

We take one step at a time

While still in our prime

Everything is real

Too difficult to conceal

And we cherish every day

In a very special way

God will never fail you.

God can do it.

Stop worrying about things you left in God’s hands.

God is good.

Easing the mind with prayer

Cause God almighty is there

Hanging on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

Turning a frown into smile

Learning to laugh a while

Relishing what we see

Knowing what’s meant to be

Counting every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

Finding a safe place

To run our race

Embracing God’s power

Hour after hour

Looking straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Learning to stand

As we hold God’s hand

Changing our view

Seeing what God can do

Embracing every day

In a very special way

Hanging on life lessons

That are now confessions

Looking into our hearts

Seeing where love starts

Finding a new home

Letting our souls roam

Finding a new way to live

A new way to give

A new way to love

Just like heaven above

Getting filled to the core

Before God offers us more

Learning from the past

Making every moment last

Finding our voice

As we begin to rejoice

Taking back our name

Letting go of shame

Doing our victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

Staying close to God

With a wink and nod

Relishing the peace

We don’t want to release

Cause we’re here

We have nothing to fear

Sitting with bowed heads

The moment Satan dreads

Letting our souls be free

The moment is meant to be

Suddenly peace appears

The moment removes our fears

We see our mission

With crystal clear vision

We hang on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

We cherish something pure

It makes us feel secure

Faith turns us around

We settle on solid ground

The silence travels far

Without leaving a scar

We sit perfectly still

As we accept God’s will

It keeps us going

All while knowing

God’s plan is by design

Everything is just fine

The moment keeps us strong

Whether we’re right or wrong

The feeling is real

Too difficult to conceal

The moment lifts us up

Fills every cup

We feel God’s affection

We have His protection

We rest in a place

Filled with mercy and grace

We count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

God fills every day

In a very loving way

The conversation continues

As we all change our views

We hold faith close

Cause faith matters most

No matter when we fall

God answers every call

He holds us near

He holds us dear

Well in our prime

We embrace prayer time

If God blocked it, leave it alone and keep moving on.

Tonight, as you sleep, God is working things together for your good!
