The Stranger

The stranger came my way

On a bright sunny day

He took me by the hand

As he taught me to stand

We started a journey

Meant for two only

God took the lead

Assuring we would succeed

I felt the stranger’s love

As it came from heaven above

A seed was planted

A blessing was granted

That filled me to the core

As the stranger offered me more

The stranger held me close

Cause our bond mattered most

One look in his eyes

And there was no surprise

The feeling was real

Something I couldn’t conceal

The sound of his voice

Made me rejoice

He put a move on my heart

From the very start

We ignored our naysayers

As we said our prayers

The stranger lifted me up

Filled my loving cup

He took me to a place

Filled with mercy and grace

He gave my soul

What makes it whole

He set me free

Showed me what’s meant to be

He was one of a kind

Gave me peace of mind

Together we felt God’s affection

Got His protection

We did a lover’s dance

To celebrate our romance

Every moment was by design

Everything was fine

With the stranger

Words Of Wisdom

Saying a silent prayer

Cause we know God is there

Cherishing all the days

Filled with God’s loving ways

Seeing life lessons

As heartfelt confessions

Knowing faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

Falling and rising again

Knowing with faith we’ll win

Every soul filled to the core

Before God offers more

Seeing the place

Filled with mercy and grace

Finding our purpose

Lying at the surface

Letting go of fear

Cause God is standing near

Hanging on His word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

Turning a frown into a smile

Even laughing a little while

Seeing beautiful things

Sharing the joy life brings

Seeing what’s in stone

Why we’re never left alone

Doing a victory dance

Whenever we get a chance

Getting much stronger

As our days get longer

Feeling God’s affection

Having His protection

Counting every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

Reaching our peak

Whenever we hear God speak

Learning to stand

As He holds our hand

Changing our point of view

Seeing how we made it through

Making crystal clear

What we hold dear

Removing all doubt

That God will work things out

Never pretending

Cause love is never ending
