Grace Of God

We face all our days

As we accept God’s ways

We marvel at what we find

God offers us peace of mind

Many lessons are learned

We see the stripes we’ve earned

Our purpose is clear

God removes our fear

We see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave us alone

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We count blessings granted

We water the seeds we planted

We get much stronger

As our journey gets longer

We fall then rise again

Knowing faith helped us win

We hold our faith close

Cause faith matters most

We run our race

In a safe and secure place

We learn to let go

Of what we used to know

Our naysayers we ignore

As God fills our core

We look in our hearts

Then see where love starts

Strength we gain

Through heartache and pain

We lift one voice

As we begin to rejoice

We look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

Knowing God set our path

Without unleashing His wrath

We face many obstacles

We know what’s possible

God fights the enemy

We see what’s meant to be

We embrace new dreams

Strange as it seems

We feel brand new

Cause we made it

Through the grace of God

As I look in your eyes

I see wonder and surprise

They fill my day

In a very loving way

They make my purpose clear

They remove my fear

They show God is there

With tender loving care

They build my dreams

They give me peace

They offer something pure

They make me feel secure

Why God won’t leave me alone

They fill my space

With mercy and grace

I see unconditional love

Coming from heaven above

I gain strength

Whenever we talk at length

I receive moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I see blessings galore

Before God offers me more
