Miracles

Miracles appear every day

They demonstrate God’s loving way

Seeing another journey

Meant for the soul only

Finding perfect peace

The heart won’t release

Seeing what’s in stone

Seeing why God won’t leave us alone

Having the strength to endure

Feeling safe and secure

Learning to smile

Even laugh a little while

Faith revealing what’s true

Seeing all God brought us through

Finding a place

Filled with mercy and grace

Hanging on God’s word

Cause it’s all we’ve heard

And sharing the love

That comes from heaven above

Miracles appear hour after hour

They show us God’s power

They keep us going

All while knowing

What we have is rare

That God is always there

They make us proud

Make us sing out loud

They are the guide

That remains by our side

They show God’s affection

As well as protection

They fill us to the core

Before God offers more

They are the steps we take

The memories we make

They ignore the naysayers

As we say our prayers

While never pretending

Cause God’s love is never ending

Riding With The Wind

I’m riding with the wind

No telling when the journey will end

I embrace every day

Cause there’s no other way

God provides the path

I never suffer His wrath

I learn as I go

I share what I know

Faith reveals what’s real

Too difficult to conceal

My soul runs free

I know it’s meant to be

God holds me close

Cause I matter most

I spread my wings

Then embrace beautiful things

I relish peace of mind

Cause it’s hard to find

And fulfill the purpose

I see rising to the surface

I’m riding with the wind

No telling when my journey will end

I see what’s in stone

Why God won’t leave me alone

I count blessings galore

Then God fills me to the core

As I look up at the sky

There’s no need to ask why

I’m on an ordained journey

Meant for me only

I stop and smell some roses

Then strike a few poses

While I continue to travel

My soul won’t unravel

I find my voice

Then begin to rejoice

Everything is going well

I have a story to tell

So, from beginning to end
