Awakening every day
Accepting God’s way
Looking in the mirror
Seeing what God made clearer
Facing every journey
Meant for us only
Learning as we go
Sharing what we know
Finally getting stronger
As our days get longer
Knowing faith is the key
To what’s meant to be
We continue our prayers
As we face our naysayers
We learned from the past
We’ve made every moment last
We’ve finally found a place
To run our race
We’ve found our purpose
Rising to the surface
We feel God’s affection
As well as protection
He fills the soul
With what makes it whole
Sometimes we fall
But God answers every call
We relish our peace of mind
Which is hard to find
We rest on solid ground
We share the joy we found
We reach our peak
Whenever we hear God speak
We know what we share
It’s called tender loving care
It’s part of a plan
God reveals when He can
Love sets our souls on fire
Fills us with desire
Many lessons we’ve learned
Several stripes we’ve earned
Time makes clear
Almighty God is near
And as we travel
Our hearts won’t unravel
