Day after day

We embark on a journey

Meant just for us only

We marvel at what we find

God gives us peace of mind

We gain some strength

By talking with God at length

We see what’s in stone

We realize we’re not alone

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We fall then rise again

Cause faith helps us win

We count blessings granted

We water the seeds we planted

Faith makes us see

What’s meant to be

We see our divine purpose

Lying at the surface

We hold hands

Right where God stands

We move without a doubt

That God will work things out

We do a victory dance

To celebrate our second chance

Day after day

We feel God’s power

Hour after hour

We travel far

As God heals every scar

We face our naysayers

As we say our prayers

God fills our core

Before He offers us more

We learn to stand

As we hold God’s hand

We find our voice

We begin to rejoice

We rest at home

Where our souls can roam

Thinking of lovely days

All God’s loving ways

Seeing purpose appear

God removing every fear

What feels brand new

As our story is told

Before He reveals what’s meant to be

Seeing a beautiful place

Filled with mercy and grace
