I feel an unconditional love

Like heaven above

On the inside

I feel peace

That I don’t want to release

And I gain strength

After talking with God at length

I count every blessing

Without a lot of stressing

I feel a loving touch

That means so much

I feel the journey

Meant for me only

I feel my purpose

Lying at the surface

I feel the dreams

That make me burst at the seams

The nights are long

My feelings are strong

The Way Home

On the way home

I think of blessings granted

The seeds I’ve planted

My one true love

Looking at heaven above

A very special place

Filled with God’s grace

How I cherish every day

Things that make me smile

And how faith helped me win

Warm Embrace

We sat in a warm embrace

It was a special place

We shared our joy and pain

Cause we knew what we’d gain

We shared our dreams

Then burst at the seams

The seed was planted

A blessing was granted

We knew right away

It was a new day

And we relished what we found

On pure and sacred ground

Last Night

Last night I said a silent prayer

I saw a sign that God was there

He gave me strength

As we talked at length

He filled me to my core

And then offered me more

He took me by the hand

As I looked at love land

The moment is one I’ll never forget

And one I certainly don’t regret

It made clear

What God holds dear

It remained in my heart

As I began a fresh start

Last night I left fear behind

Cause faith eased my mind

I began a new day

God showed me a better way

I saw how I’ve grown

And all I’ve ever known

I saw my purpose
