Praise Dance

I’ll do a praise dance

Cause God gave me second chance

As I move my feet

To my own beat

I think of God’s love

As well as heaven above

I think of what I’ve gone through

And what God can do

I think of sleepless nights

And God’s constant fights

I think of the strength I gained

Whenever it rained

I think of God’s word

It’s the best I’ve ever heard

I think of how God turned me around

And the joy I found

He took me to place

Filled with grace

I think of the new me

And what’s meant to be

So I’ll continue my praise dance

Cause God gave me a second chance

Believe in the seeds God planted

Believe in a silent prayer

Believe that God is always there

I see shades of love

Like heaven above

I see us holding hands

Right where love stands

I see us walking

I see us talking

Through shades of love

While looking at heaven above

I see the guiding light

We follow day and night

I see the memories we’ve made

Our joy will never fade

I see God’s will

As we sit perfectly still

I see our love zone

God won’t leave us alone

I see the moments we’ve shared

And the dreams we’ve dared

They mean so much more

Than silver and gold galore

I see morning dew

And what God brought us through

Nothing could be better

As we embrace life to the letter

Shines day and night

It directs our path

Without God’s wrath

It helps us see

What’s truly meant to be

The guiding light keeps us strong

It is the heart

That knows where to start

It fulfills the purpose

We see lying at the surface

It is God’s power

We feel it hour upon hour

It fills the soul

It makes us whole

It turns us around

It puts us on solid ground

It knows what we can take

It knows what memories we’ll make

It is the blessing

We count without stressing

At it’s very core

It offers much more
