Yesterday I let go of the past

I focused on things that will last

I basked in my strength

And had a talk with God at length

I moved in the right direction

With God’s guidance and protection

Yesterday I learned how to be me

I found out who loves me unconditionally

I took a stand

As I held His hand

I knew then

That He’d help me win

Yesterday I looked in the mirror

It all became clearer

I’m blessed to be sure

Gratitude keeps my heart pure

I take nothing for granted

The seeds have been planted

Yesterday I took stock of my life

I got rid of the strife

I’m well on my way

To a brighter day

With it comes lessons

As well as confessions

Yesterday I felt my own power

Hour upon hour

I’ll never be the same

Everyone knows my name

I wouldn’t have it any other way

Based on what I learned yesterday

Keep your goals in front of you and don’t let anything distract you.

God is in our midst

His love is too powerful to resist

He leads the way

Each and every day

He reveals His plan

While we hold His hand

He works behind the scenes

We should all know what that means

Our purpose is clear

We should hold it dear

Winter, spring, summer or fall

On Him we can call

It’s easy to see

That’s the way it should be

While He sits on a throne

He’ll never leave us alone

It’s certainly true

He’ll carry us through

Filled with a love too powerful to resist

He’s willing and able

To keep us stable

There’s no doubt

He’ll work things out

Our voices we should raise

In a song of praise

Cause God is in our midst

Never lose sight of your vision.

I woke up and felt more joy than I’ve ever known

I looked in the mirror and saw how much I’ve grown

I showered, dressed and had a cup of joe

Counting blessings is all I know

God has filled me with strength

I always pray at length

In the process, I discovered something new

I have to change my point of view

I proceeded with my day

God stayed with me every step of the way

It was the right thing to do

I thank and praise God for all He’s brought me through

I take nothing for granted

The seeds have been planted

God tells me to remain strong

I take heed as I move along

Each day is better than the day before

A passion for life fills me to the core

God is my guide

My gratitude I can’t hide

I’m not reeling

I’m simply expressing my feelings

In order to change your life you have to change something you do daily.

Every day presents something new

God leads the way

I pray every day

I reveal the best of me

I see life as it’s meant to be

Blessings are to be cherished, not taken for granted

The seeds have been planted

I continue to grow

I share what I know

I fall and rise again

God shows me where to begin

God has a plan
