One day I let go of the past

And began making memories to last

It didn’t take long

It was a matter of being strong

My purpose became clear

And I hold it near

I looked inside myself to see what was there

I saw a God that who let me know He does care

My path was set in stone

It won’t leave me alone

I can clearly see

What’s meant to be

I love Him completely

He gives me direction

As well as protection

I know which way to go

And God will help me grow

A new chapter of  my life has begun

I thank God for the blessings granted

Each and every one

Gratitude fills me to the core

I know life offers much more

It doesn’t get any better

Stop worrying and trust God. He’s with you every step of the way.

Purpose is the thing that will keep you awake

Purpose will give you the strength to endure what others can’t take

Purpose is God given

Purpose is the reason to be driven

Purpose will lead you every day

Purpose never goes away

Purpose is a guiding light

Purpose is real on sight

Purpose should be fulfilled without fear

Because God is near

Purpose is the seed planted

The result will be a blessing granted

Believe it will come to the surface

Your God given purpose

You may be going through a difficult time right now, but it isn’t the end. God is still in control.

As I look at the sands of time

I discover what’s in me

And what’s meant to be

I move forward without fear

Because God is near

I share what I know

For it will help me grow

I travel the path God laid

And thank Him for the sacrifices He made

He shows me the way

And I pray every day

It’s God’s will

And it gives me a thrill

I see the woman God created

It may not happen the way you expect it on your time table, but God is a faithful God. It will happen.

Marks a turning point for me

I’ve committed to being the best I can be

I carry life’s lessons along on my journey

One ordained by God only

They’ve given me purpose

It’s finally come to the surface

God’s grace is like no other

I thank Him for the path He laid

God is great

As I face today

God is saying to you today, “I will give you strength when you think you can’t go on. I will give you joy when you feel discouraged. I will make a way when it looks impossible.”

It draws me in nightly

It shows me where to go

And shows me how to grow

To view it is a pleasure

Beyond all measure

I use it as a guide

Its importance I can’t hide

It keeps me on the right road

And helps me carry a heavy load

I can move with room to spare

Because the candle is always there

Its glimmer I can’t do without

Its presences is meant to be

It unveils every mystery

It watches me as I pray

It follows me as I continue on my way

My voice I raise

In a song of praise

For whenever I think I’ve faced all I can handle

God never promised that you’d never face hardships. He promised to give you the strength to handle them.
