A time to accomplish that of which we speak

A time to leave the past behind

A time to embrace new thoughts that enter the mind

A time to see where to go

A time to see how we can grow

A time to unveil the mystery

A time to try something new

A time to change our point of view

A time to embark on a new journey

Ordained by God only

The key to everything

A joy only God can bring

A real purpose

Something that can come to the surface

Where we should start

Where we can put the key to the heart

A brand new day

A brand new way

Our voices we raise

In a song of praise

We’ll forge ahead

While praying instead

On Monday

Be patient. God works in His own way and time.

We looked at the midnight sky

And didn’t have to wonder why

We traveled a great distance

With no resistance

We knew what was in store

It filled us to the core

Love was in great abundance

He unveiled our purpose

I woke up up one day

And God had a lot to say

I looked in the mirror

Suddenly everything became clearer

It was a blessing granted

I watered the seed planted

I became acquainted with my  power

I prayed every hour

And my path was set in stone

I can’t leave it alone

I’m going to stand strong

As I move along

I searched for a clue

God brought me through

I embraced the path taken to the core

Because I knew life offered much more

I don’t regret it

My faith I can’t  hide

Never forget what God has done for you in the past. He has always provided and He won’t stop now.

We embarked on this journey years ago

We didn’t know how much we would grow

We’ve weathered the storms of life

And gotten through a lot of strife

Faith and prayer are the key

It’s no mystery

We’v had ups and downs for sure

But our goal has remained pure

We’ve fallen and risen again

We’ve learned where to begin

We’ve embraced the blessings granted

And watered the seeds planted

God has the final say. He says, “I’m going to restore the years that were stolen. I’m going to pay you back for what was unfair.”

I walked down the path God laid

I thanked Him for the sacrifices He made

My purpose became clear that fateful day

I wouldn’t have it any other way

It was meant to be

It was meant for me

What I know for sure is

He proved His love  was  pure

When He  lead me down the path

It was a long, winding journey

Ordained by God only

It was a moment I’ll never forget

And one I’ll never regret

I saw life in its splendor

My faith I’ll never surrender

I learned to stand tall

And to answer God’s call

What I know for sure is

There’s no doubt

God worked things out

I hold my head up high

There’s no need to ask why

For what I know for sure is
