Echos of excellence appear before me

A reminder of how I should be

Strength, courage, perseverance, persistence

Are in existence

Echos of excellence

Show what’s inside

The passion one can’t hide

God’s grace takes hold

Miracles unfold

Echos of excellence

Pride in a job well done

Regrets, there are none

Our heads are held high

Faith, we apply

Echos of excellence

Rewards are great

We travel far

But we’re not sub par

We stay strong

As we move along

Echos of excellence

Our work speaks for itself

We pass the torch

We take a stand

We hold God’s hand

Echos of excellence

Aren’t hard to find

They linger in the mind

A standard we can reach

Something we can teach

Something we can obtain

Without a lot of strain

Waking to the dawn of a new day

Thanking God along the way

Embracing perfect peace

Being covered in grace

No matter the place

Is a joy

Taking nothing for granted

Watering the seeds planted

Singing songs of praise

For the all our days

Is a joy

Reaping what we sow

Sharing what we know

Embracing God’s love

From heaven above

Is a joy

Following the path wherever it leads

Staying in prayer

Cause God is there

Reaching our destiny

Loving one another completely

Is a joy

Forgetting the past

Making every moment last

Staying strong

Moving along

Is a joy

Here comes fall

Colorful leaves and all

A time of change

A time to rearrange

Time to start anew

Reflect on what we’ve been through

Here comes fall

Time to do it all again

Let’s release past pain

Focus on what we have to gain

Embrace  blessings granted

Water seeds planted

Here comes fall

A new day has dawned

New dreams have spawned

Much to look forward to

So much more to do

Here comes fall

No time to stall

Time to embrace gifts

Everything that gives us a lift

God’s  grace

In every place

Here comes fall

We travel on our journey

Marvel at the beauty that surrounds us

We learn as we go

Share what we know

As we fly on the wings of life

We stay in prayer

We know God is there

We endure

God keeps us secure

As we fly on the wings of life

As time passes

We’re covered by grace

In every place

God’s love is pure

Of that, we’re sure

As we fly on the wings of life

There’s  no doubt

God will work things out

Faith is the key

In time of need

We believe

Grace will be with us until the end

We don’t have to pretend

As we fly on the wings of life

Life is

A day to day adventure

Far too many to mention

It moves at it’s own pace

It’s filled with lessons to be learned

Life is

A precious jewel

A God given gift

It’s filled with obstacles to overcome

Filled with opportunities to become better than we were before

Life is

What we make it

Sitting by my window

Thinking of how far I’ve come

Counting my blessings one by one

Singing songs of praise

For all my days

Taking a leap of faith

Because faith is key

It brings out the best in me

Being grateful for every moment

Learning and growing as I go

Sharing what I know

Acknowledging the Most High

I don’t have to wonder why

Keeping a steady pace

Finishing the race

Keeping God close

Closer than most

Covered by grace at every turn

My candle will always burn

Remaining free of despair

Realizing that God does care

Ignoring naysayers

Is letting go

Moving forward without delay

Praying every day

Growing through life

Ignoring strife

Is letting go

Waking on a daily basis

Seeing life in all it’s splendor

Knowing we’ll never surrender

God leads the way

Each and every day

For that we should be grateful

Forever more

Guiding us through our trials

Helping us grow

Teaching us what we know

Hearing our cry

We don’t have to wonder why

We must be grateful

Forever more

Feeling a short lived blues

Hearing the good news

Feeling God’s grace

In every place

Let’s be grateful

Forever more

Feeling a presence during the journey

Knowing we’re not alone

We’re watched by a man on a throne

Loving life

Overcoming strife

Let’s be grateful

Forever more

We travel down the road to the unknown

We embrace the love God has shown

We are here by grace

Lead to a special place

Just because

We give praise for blessings granted

Our view isn’t slanted

God is always in our mist

He paves the way

Every day

Just because

Our lives are intertwinded

Our secrets unfold

Our stories are told

We do our best

And let God take care of the rest

Just because

I take a long walk home

I take it with glee

It brings out the best in me

I see all possibilities

I see mysteries

Everything unfolds

I see the power that Gold holds

I take a long walk home

I do it each day

To remind me to pray

I hold God near

His love I hold dear

I see the path

I feel no wrath

I take a long walk home

To see what matters most

I see signs from coast to coast

I embrace life in all it’s glory

It’s a wonder to behold

A story waiting to be  told

I take a long walk home

To remain humble

I’ll sing a song of praise

For the rest of my days

I take a long walk home
