I hear the sound of singing birds, welcoming the dawn of a new day.

I hear the sound of dust blowing in the wind.

I  see and hear travelers throughout the day.

Travelers, whose minds never stray.

I hear the sound of voices, including my own, plotting every move.

I hear the plans of those who have nothing to prove.

I hear life.

Moments are precious and certainly a treasure.

Moments of joy and laughter are beyond measure.

Moments of hopes and dreams remind one of what could be.

Moments  remain sacred for eternity.

There are moments to teach.

Moments to reach and moments to preach.

Moments filled with life lessons to learn.

Moments for which a heart can yearn.

Moments filled with uncertainty.

Moments filled with clarity.

Moments that excite.

Moments that ignite.

Moments the Most High seeks our attention.

Moments that one doesn’t need to mention.

Some moments are for a season, others are for a lifetime.

Yet other moments are prime.

Moments, we can’t shake.

Moments are what we make.

Been through many trials and tribulations, yet I still have unshattered dreams.

Been beaten, but not broken, yet understanding that life isn’t always what it seems.

Been confronted by an enemy.

An enemy that can’t touch my inner mystery.

I still have unshattered dreams.

Been counted out, spoken harshly about.

I still have unshattered dreams.

Been through the fire.

God has given me the strength I desire.

Been waiting for what I thought would never come.

Along with a new day comes new blessings.

These are more than just window dressing.

A chance to make what was wrong right.

Another opportunity to continue the good fight.

An opportunity to look back at all that God has done.

Knowing that His love, guidance and mercy are bar none.

A new day presents challenges, all of which can be met.

We have to forge ahead with little regret.

To see a new day is worth thanking the Most High for.

From Him, we may receive many more.

Happiness is more than riches, silver and gold.

It’s having the strength to be courageous and bold.

Forging ahead when told no.

Removing what doesn’t allow you to grow.

Happiness is recognizing what’s important in life.

Remaining steadfast and strong in the mist of strife.

Keeping God and family in a special place.

You need their warm embrace.

Happiness is stepping out of faith.

Stepping out on faith is the base.

Even when you don’t see the staircase.

Happiness is knowing no matter what you go through.
