We embraced another day

We accepted God’s way

We gave thanks for the journey

Meant for us only

We planted seeds

That led to good deeds

Filled with mercy and grace

We learned faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

By talking with God at length

We saw something real

Too difficult to conceal

We found a home

Where our souls could roam

We opened our eyes

To a wonderful surprise

We learned to let go

Of what we used to know

And life got better

Cause we embraced it to the letter

Yesterday

God dried every tear

He removed every fear

We shared the dreams

That make us burst at the seams

We held each other close

Cause love matters most

We looked straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

We learned to smile

Even laugh a little while

We acknowledged God

With a wink and nod

God filled every soul

With what makes it whole

We passed another test

Just like all the rest

We reached our peak

After hearing God speak

We found solid ground

We shared the joy we found

God proved He’s able

He invited to His table

And we found our way

That proves God is always there

Cause He has something for us
