We’re feeling lost
Don’t know at what cost
We’re searching for a way
To live every day
The road is long
But we’re trying to be strong
We’re a little confused
Can’t see what’s been used
Our path isn’t clear
Increasing our fear
We wonder what we’ll find
As we search for peace of mind
We long for a hand to hold
We wonder if our story will be told
We’re searching for a place
Filled with mercy and grace
We’re wondering what’s by design
If everything will be fine
We’ve been scorned
Had our hearts torn
We’re searching high and low
For what we used to know
We’re trying to smile
We want to laugh a while
We long for a word
Unlike any we’ve heard
We wonder what’s for us
Who we should trust
Some think we won’t last
But we learn from the past
We suddenly see God
Offer a wink and nod
He helps us stand
As we hold His hand
Faith makes us see
What’s truly meant to be
God turns us around
Puts us on solid ground
We feel God’s power
Hour after hour
God ordains the journey
Meant for us only
Removing all doubt
While things are inside out
