You may be inadequate, but God is not.

Whether you think you are qualified or not, remember, it was God who placed you where you are.

I need two arms to hold me
Something to set me free
Something filled with love
From heaven above
Something to help me feel at home
Something to let my soul roam
A purpose to hold me close
Cause I matter most
Arms that provide a safe space
To run my race
Something filled with care
And lets me know God is there
Something pure and sweet
Something to see when we meet
And a place where I find
Peace of mind
I need two arms to hold me
Something set in stone
Arms that won’t leave me alone
Something to make me proud
Make me talk real loud
Something to travel far
As I reach for a star
Something filled with a word
That’s the best I’ve heard
Something that will turn me around
Put me on solid ground
Something filled with affection
As well as protection
Something like a light
I can follow day and night
Something to keep me strong
Whether I’m right or wrong
Something like a dream
Strange though it may seem
Something filled power
Hour after hour
It’s easy to see
I need two arms to hold me

I heard a voice in the wind
It set me free
It let me be me
It was filled with love
From heaven above
It spoke of something real
What only the heart can reveal
It spoke of God’s power
Hour after hour
It gave me strength
As it talked at length
It spoke of purpose
Rising to the surface
It moved my heart
From the very start
And it followed the journey
Meant for me only
I heard a voice in the wind
It filled me to the core
Before it gave me more
It spoke of blessings granted
All the seeds planted
What I’d gain
Through heartache and pain
It took me to a place
Filled with mercy and grace
It held me close
Like bonding mattered most
It carried me far
Without leaving a scar
It made clear
What I should hold dear
It spoke of a treasure
Beyond all measure
It filled every day
In its own special way
It spoke of time
And how to remember my prime
I learned how to begin
When I heard a voice in the wind

Talk like God can hear you, because He can.

God made you on purpose, for a purpose.

God fills every day
With His loving way
He is faithful and true
He does good things for you
He works day and night
To remain a guiding light
He offers strength
Whenever you talk with Him at length
He offers blessings galore
Before He gives you more
He turned your life around
Put you on solid ground
He offers a word
That’s the best you’ve heard
He provides a place
Filled with mercy and grace
He plants seeds
That lead to good deeds
He’s willing to share
He’s always there
He teaches lessons
That become heartfelt confessions
He knows what’s real
What the heart can’t conceal
He knows what you endure
He offers something pure
He helps you stand
As he holds your hand
He offers affection
As well as protection
He has a plan
He’ll reveal when He can
He holds you close
Cause you matter most
He is the key
To what’s meant to be
Nothing’s been taken
You have not been forsaken

When the sun rises
One day ends and another begins
We see how faith wins
We embark on another journey
Meant for us only
God unveils a new plan
As only He can
He sets things in stone
Purpose doesn’t leave us alone
We see what’s real
What only the heart can reveal
We pass another test
Before taking time to rest
Prayer replenishes our hearts
Where love always starts
And we give as good as we get
With very little regret
When the sun rises
We start anew
We change our point of view
We count blessings galore
Before God gives us more
Our hearts and minds are free
We see what’s meant to be
Our purpose becomes clear
We let go of the fear
We see where we stand
As we hold God’s hand
We find solid ground
We share the joy we found
We relish the place
Filled with mercy and grace
We become aware
That God is always there
He heals the pain
We relieves the strain
We hold our faith close
Cause faith matters most
We proceed until the end
We never pretend
And life reveals surprises
When the sun rises

Disappointments are God’s way of saying I’ve got something better in store.

Disappointment, defeat and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way.
