We’re sitting in a field of dreams

Strange though it seems

Every day is brand new

We see what God can do

We feel unconditional love

Coming from heaven above

God’s word is our guide

We share what we know

Is filled with joy and laughter

We share a smile

That last a little while

We enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

We have a name

God removed our shame

And life gets better

As we embrace it to the letter

In a safe and secure place

We remember who we are

As we begin to rejoice

I’ve waited for a treasure

To cherish beyond measure

I’ve spent many days

Trying to change my ways

I’ve looked at heaven above

While seeking nothing but love

I’ve tried to turn around

Put my feet on solid ground
