Riding With The Wind

I’m riding with the wind

No telling when the journey will end

The wind hits my face

Along with God’s amazing grace

I look all around

Then share the joy I found

I embrace the purpose

I see lying at the surface

I fall then rise again

Knowing with faith I’ll win

I get stronger

As my journey gets longer

I stay in prayer

I thank God for being there

I pass every test

Just like all the rest

I’ve found a home

Where my soul can roam

I count the blessings granted

I water the seeds I’ve planted

I enjoy moments of pleasure

Beyond all measure

I know God is real

Too difficult to conceal

Faith is the key

To what’s meant to be

I’m riding with the wind

No telling when my journey will end

I learn as I go

I share what I know

My life lessons

Are now heartfelt confessions

I hang on God’s word

Cause that’s all I’ve heard

I share the smile

That runs about a mile

I build my dreams

Until I burst at the seams

I know what I hold

My story will be told

I give as good as I get

With very little regret

I look straight ahead

Without an ounce of dread

While I’m riding with the wind

We share all our days

In many loving ways

We hold each other close

Cause love matters most

We enjoy every moment for sure

The moments make us feel secure

We look at heaven above

Then thank God for the love

Cause He planted the seed

To a blessing indeed

We embrace the journey

Meant just for us only

What we have is real

Too difficult to conceal

We rest in a home

Where our souls can roam

We share a smile

We laugh a little while

We move without fear

Cause God almighty is near

We do a love dance

To celebrate our romance

Love fills us to the core

Then leaves us begging for more

We hold hands

Right where God stands

Our bond is by design

So, everything is fine

We know our name

We feel no shame

We have a treasure

We cherish beyond measure

Faith has made us see

What’s meant to be

God removes every cloud

The moments make us proud

We stand on solid ground

We share the joy we found

Every single chapter

Is filled with joy and laughter

We see a surprise

Whenever we open our eyes

Faith made us one

We know what God has done

Love made us whole

And filled the heart and soul
